SweepMaster is a free VSTi synthesizer or SoftSynth that you can use to automate sweeps.
Noise sweeps are how many producers produce build ups (crescendos) and breakdowns in their tracks.
SweepMaster is a synthesizer dedicated to this task.
You can also use it as a stand-alone instrument connected to a MIDI keyboard or sequencer.
Either way it will respond to MIDI commands so you can automate it using VST automation from your DAW or MIDI using the following Control Change (cc) messages:
* cc 7 automates the volume level
* cc 71 automates the resonance parameter
* cc 74 automates the cut-off parameter
